This is a night organised by students from Northampton University and College to help raise money for the charity PAPYRUS.

Natasha Warnes was a local Northampton girl that took her own life last year. Her family have been supporting PAPYRUS and with the help of the County Music Service have already raised a considerable amount of money. This is a chance for the less classically oriented of her friends to help and show their support.


PAPYRUS is a UK-wide charity with the belief that young suicide is often preventable. They aim to:

    • Reduce Stigma associated with suicide and mental health issues
    • Increase Awareness of young suicide and how to help prevent it.
    • Provide services (e.g. HOPELineUK / ASIST Training)
    • Campaign as a UK-wide membership organisation to prevent young suicide.
    • Listen and Learn – supporting and disseminating research and knowledge.
    • Contribute to local, regional and national suicide prevention strategic action
